I graduated from Regis University in May of 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. During my time at Regis, I conducted research on Dengue Virus where I investigated human host factors that are essential for Dengue Virus replication in mammalian cells. In the summers in between my undergraduate years, I additionally completed an internship in analytical chemistry at KBI Biopharma, and a summer research program (SURPH) at Duke in Laura Wingler’s lab where I developed a fluorescent reporter peptide for studying GPCRs. I was additionally fortunate enough to publish my honors senior thesis which focused on the impacts of implementing artificial intelligence into industrial drug research and discovery. Following my graduation at Regis, I decided to return to Duke to pursue my Ph.D. in Pharmacology and eventually joined the Tsvetanova lab! My graduate research focuses on how β-adrenergic receptor signaling influences cellular redox homeostasis and stress adaptation. Outside of the laboratory, I enjoy spending time with my partner, Brody, playing videogames, weightlifting, and live theatre/karaoke.
