I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and English. While at ND, I worked with Dr. Amy Stark studying molecular regulatory effects of cisplatin treatment across multiple cancer types, and I also worked with Dr. Liewei Wang at Mayo Clinic studying novel drug combinations in hormone-dependent cancers. I joined the Pharmacology Ph.D. program at Duke in the fall of 2023, and I am a member of the Pharmacological Sciences Training Program (PSTP). My project in the lab examines how the intracellular organelle of signal origin impacts cellular responsiveness. When I am away from lab you can find me playing pickleball with Matt and Katherine, walking in Duke Gardens, or watching reality TV. If I am away from lab during the work day, you can probably find me at the vending machine.
